McGrew, McGrew & Associates is a Martindale-Hubbell AV-Preeminent Rated Law Firm with over thirty years of experience in helping Oklahomans resolve their insurance claims arising from wind/hail, fire loss, water intrusion, or other traumatic events. Ours is a unique mission - to make sure that you, the client, are treated fairly by your insurance company following an insurance loss. About Michael

Michael has spent the entirety of his over 30-year professional career representing Oklahomans in litigation arising from insurance claims. Mr. McGrew has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as an AV-Preeminent Rated Attorney: this recognition is awarded to fewer than five-percent of American Lawyers who have been recognized by their peers for their outstanding legal ability and high ethical standards. Mr. McGrew’s practice is limited primarily to the representation of individuals and businesses in insurance claims and litigation arising from insurance claim disputes. Mr. McGrew is married to Mary McGrew, the firm’s office manager, and has two children: Matthew McGrew and Kaitlin McGrew. In his free time he enjoys fishing, running, and spending time at his ranch in Checotah, Oklahoma.

About Matthew

Matthew is an Associate Attorney with our firm. Mr. McGrew joined our firm as a Licensed Legal Intern in 2012. Mr. McGrew graduated from law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law where he was selected as a recipient of The Emerging Leaders Scholarship. His practice is exclusively focused on civil litigation, including Insurance Bad Faith, Breach of Contract, and Catastrophic Injury Claims. In his free time Mr. McGrew enjoys spending time outdoors, competing in KCBS barbeque contests, and spending time with his wife, Elizabeth, and their sons, Brandon & Henry.

About Kristen

Kristen Merritt is an Associate Attorney in our firm. Kristen graduated law school from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, IL. During her time at Chicago-Kent Kristen served as the Vice President of Chicago-Kent's Moot Court Honor Society and was a member of the Chicago-Kent Honors Scholars Program. She also competed to receive and was awarded the Ilana Diamond Rovner Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy. Upon graduation, Kristen was inducted into the Order of the Coif, a prestigious national legal honorary society whose members are chosen based on exceptional academic performance while in law school. Prior to joining our firm, Kristen worked in Chicago focusing mainly on Plaintiff-side employment claims under Title VII and the IHRA. Kristen also did extensive work with biometric data and privacy law under laws like the Biometric Information Privacy Act. Kristen also spent time at the American Association of Insurance Services where she gained valuable insight into the construction and function of insurance policies. In her free time Kristen enjoys spending time with her Pitbull, reading, recording music, and running.

About Robin

Robin McGrew joined the firm in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Robin resided in Ventura, California where she served as an Assistant County Counsel and a Deputy District Attorney for Ventura County. In her free time, Robin enjoys spending time with her wonderful daughters, Rebecca and Michaella.
